I am conducting a review of all our created and resolved bugs and defects which go back as far as 2022.
When I am using a filter query within the Created vs Resolved Chart that gets all the tickets as far back as 2022, my chart only takes the current years worth of data in to consideration and does not display any information for the tickets from 2022 or 2023.
Is this a limitation on the chart?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Two things may be affected your results.
1. There is a limit to how many issue are returned by a filter, and that limit is 1000 issues.
2. There is a configuration option for the gadget to specify how many days back you want, within the results of your filter.
@Trudy Claspill Thanks for this information. The query I am using pulls back over 1000 tickets so the chart wont work for what I am after.
I did use the correct 'Previous Days' in that field but I guess regardless, the count of items is excessive so that's probably why its not giving me the older data.
I'll go back to the drawing board and see if I can find an alternative chart for now.

If you consider the idea of using an app from Marketplace, our Great Gadgets app offers a Created vs Resolved chart that could be helpful. It has no limitations like the one from Jira.
