I am trying to set up a service request form that includes a dropdown list to select a site ID that is only applicable to the organization of the the customer.
To better explain the scenario, a customer from an organization creates a service request. From the form, the customer needs to select from a list the site that the customer is referring to. Each organization will have their own set of sites and cannot / should not see the list of sites for other organizations.
Is there a way to have a drop down list that can be populated based on the customers organization?
Thank you @[deleted] for your response. I am fairly new to JIRA and am still learning. I like the idea using custom fields with a context for each project. I was hoping to centralize all the organizations / customers into one support project if at all possible. There are pros / cons for each approach.
Thanks for the help!
Colin
Hi @Colin Kraglund,
I am not sure if this is viable within JIRA Service Desk. I would suggest copying the Service Desk project and splitting up the userbase so that each organisation has their own separate project.
If the Site ID field is a custom field, you can set a context for each project.
Hope this helps
