Create new issue when specific option chosen in custom field

Hi All,

If the issue creator selects an option from drop down custom field, the system should create a duplicate issue. The system should reference the details populated in the parent issue type to create the duplicate entry.

You will need some sort of automation or scripting addon to accomplish this.
