Create link to create issue screen under a specific epic

I want to have a link in Confluence to create issues under a specific epic.  We use Jira Data Center.

I know how to create issues within a project but I don't know the string for creating issues linked to a specific epic.  Is this possible?

If so, can someone share the URL that makes this work?

Hi @Rebecca Conner and welcome to the Community!  Have a look here.  You will want to append something like the following, where the customfield ID is your Epic Link field ID and ABC-123 = the Epic you want to link to.  HTH

&customfield_10101=ABC-123

Given the link you shared & what you wrote I would have thought this would have worked but it is not.  I can create a bug issue type in the right project but it does not link the epic.
