Create a work breakdown that syncs with JIRA and creates stories automatically

Hello all!

In my story mapping, I like to create diagrams with work breakdown so we can already see the big picture in development and the dependencies between stories.
However we need to use a third party software to build it, and the add manually all boxes creating stories with name, points and dependencies. It's a nightmare.
Do you know of any add-on that does that?

You may want to try out the newly released Move and Organize for Jira app that provides a dynamic view of your Jira projects in a tree hierarchy.

It allows you to visually overview and also edit on-the-fly (create, edit, recursively move, delete et c) issues. Zoom and pan the tree view quickly and smoothly using keyboard shortcuts and mouse drag-n-drop support that enable you to work very efficiently also with larger projects!

Finally, it does not require any customization of your existing Jira projects - it plugs in directly for your users without making any non-standard customizations to the project or its issues.

When you say diagrams, do you mean a story map? Or something else?

There is going to be an array of add-ons on the Atlassian Marketplace which might help you with work breakdown - either before or during the creation of stories - such as:

• Story Mapping: Apps such as Easy Agile User Story Maps or Agile User Stories / Agile Dependencies
• Roadmaps: Roadmap apps such as Jira Portfolio or BigPicture
• Diagrams: Apps for drawing and process maps - such as Gliffy Confluence / Gliffy Jira or draw.io

^ There are alot of possibilities and I would suggest getting on the marketplace to see what there is. If this isn't what you're looking for, let us know more so we can make a more concise suggestion.

Apologies for the delay responding. 

I'm not sure it'll be easy to find something which looks exactly like this unless you built it within one of the diagram options above. I found another option though:

• Easy Agile Programs for Jira: Allows for linking between issues to show dependencies

^ If something like this still isn't sufficient, I'd suggest looking through the Marketplace for story mapping apps or similar external apps which integrate with Jira and Confluence.
