Create a velocity chart in dashboards for a virtual team

Hi everyone, 

I have a couple of devs who are doing an Erasmus in my team and for that I created a new board inside my project where the filter is: Project in( Project A or Project B) and Label = shared so i can see the work from both projects and the issues assigned to guys from project B are already being tracked in their project. 

What I need is to know if I can create a dashboard with velocity for this "virtual " board/team ?

Indeed, Jira does not come with a Velocity Chart gadget out of the box, but the Agile Velocity Chart Gadget app solves this.

The gadget supports single and cross-team setup:

1. add gadget to dashboard
2. select your scrum board in the configuration
3. get results

Also you can achieve it with Time In Status add-on. Primary propose of our tool is generating reports that show how much time each issue has spent on each status, assignee, team, or project. Also we have Sprint Performance Report, where we have all the metrics for each sprint and one of them is team velocity chart.

The app comes with couple of gadgets to track sprint status with multiple parameters and also to track team member's velocity in a sprint . Do try it out.

Jira does not provide a velocity dashboard gadget.

But you could try the Team Velocity gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app. 

This gadget can display the velocity for your newly created agile board, it works with any type of estimates, can include sub-tasks, can show scope changes and it is highly configurable.

I don't see that there is an equivalent request for Cloud, if that's what you're using, but the original request has the 'affects-cloud' label.
