Create a recruitment funnel statistics

Hi! I am developing a recruitment workflow in Jira like this https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/templates/recruitment but tailored to our company needs. 

Problem: I need to build monthly funnel statistics showing me how many candidates were on each step (each step equals an issue status). For example, I have 25 new candidates (status New), 20 of them passed the 1st recruitment step (another status), 15 of them passed the 2nd step (another status), and so on through the recruitment pipeline.

Question: I didn't find a suitable gadget to cover this goal, can you please suggest if there is a solution?

That is indeed a more advanced reporting need you have there. And that calls for more robust reporting solutions.

EazyBI is one or the tools that could cover this need, as you may see from this sample report or you can consider disclosing your Jira data to other reporting tools. You can have a look at potential options from the Atlassian Marketplace to see if there's an option that fits other tools you may already be using.
