Create a new ticket from Classic business custom Kanban board

I have a classic project business type that I use for some task management. I would like to be able to create a new issue right from the Kanban board I created. Does anyone know how this is possible? It will save me some time. I know I can create from the Create button at the top, but would like a "+" sign or similar to be able to create. Would be really helpful when viewing boards from an iPad as well.

Try pressing "c", not sure how it will work on iPad.

That's helpful for the desktop, but I have seen on other boards the "+" on the board that would allow me to just add from the board and I dont know how to replicate that.
