Hello,

 

When an item transitions from Transition 3 to Transition 4, there should be an automatic subtask sent to a specific supervisor to transfer material. Is that something that can be set up to do automatically?

Thank you Bill. I have the Lite Version of Jira Automation, which is why I couldn't see this option. I will be looking to do the upgraded version.

Yes, but you will need some App. I have solution for ScriptRunner (screenshots are from old version, but I think it will be still the same).

You can add postfunction

Select postfunction to create sub-task

And write additional actions script for example to automatically assign task to someone

Selection_458.pngAnother option is to write custom App which will do this task, so let me know if you want to do it this way.
