Hello,
Till Wednesday last week (11.09.24), we were able to create and complete sprints from backlog without any issue. However, when yesterday we tried to close the active sprint and open a new one, we found out that the 'complete sprint' and the 'create sprint' button has completely disappeared and we are not able to complete the current sprint and start a new one.
Can you please help? And this is not just affecting one project but multiple projects in our organization.
Kindly note that our unified scrum board draws stories from different other project boards and we have been working in this setup for years. But suddenly from this week we are seeing this issue.
Please find screenshots of missing create\complete sprint buttons. Any quick help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Hello, Good day. Please go to project settings >> permissions. Make sure you have "Manage sprint" permission and also "schedule issue" permission.
If the permission is fine, then go to "Configure board" >> "general settings". Check the projects in the board. Make sure you have above permission in all the projects shown on board general settings.

Hello @Mohanraj Thangamuthu ,
Thanks for your reply, but I have checked both the points and I am the administrator of the project and below is the general settings which also looks good to me. As I am was mentioning this issue has suddenly occurred from this week and across projects and we have not changed any settings recently. Could this be some new release effects by atlassian? Also this is affecting the project boards where we have filters to draw stories from other project boards and it has been working since years.
Thanks

Thanks. Looking at the filter query on your board, this is not specific to one project and its global filter. Meaning you should have manage sprint permission in all projects in your instance. To workaround this, you can add required projects in this filter query.
"EDD Towers" = Education and projects in (A, B) Order by rank ASC

Possibly a new project got created in your instance and you don't have manage sprint permission on the specific project. Thanks
