Count cards with a certain amount of story points?

Hi,

My team would like to see how we have improved in our story point estimation.

We use a 2,4,8,16,32 system, and were wondering if there is any way to count how many cards of each amount of points have been created in the last 6 months (i.e. June 2013 5 cards with 4 points and 10 with 8, July 2013 3 cards with 4 points and 5 with 8 points, etc).

Is there some kind of count tool that we could use for this?

You should be able to get the individual statistics by running the JQLs:

created after -10w and "Story Points" = 4

But if you prefer to get the statistics, create a filter for issues created after certain period and then try the 2 dimentional filter statistics gadget with Story Points on one axis. Will that work?
