Good morning. I work with workflow management and we have more than 200 daily tasks that are repeated. Whenever a client is added to the routine, I need to copy these tasks into a new epic with the client's name. I only found the clone function, but the clone is related to the template. I only wanted to copy the histories and subtasks, without maintaining the relationship.
Hello @Administrador Atlassian and welcome to the community!
As I wrote here.
If you're looking to copy an epic and its tasks without retaining the relationship to the original, our app Deep Clone for Jira might be a great solution. It allows you to fully clone issues (including epics and their subtasks) while providing options to remove links or relationships, customize fields, and more. This can simplify your process by letting you duplicate tasks for new clients while keeping the projects organized.
Hi @Administrador Atlassian - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I am having trouble following your request. Can you give us exact details of what you are trying to do?

What do you mean when you say 'the clone is related to the template'? Do you mean that there is a 'cloned by' link between the task and the template or the Epic Link of the cloned item is the template when you want it to be the new epic?
If you have Scriptrunner, I built out functionality where I have a template epic that contains all of the stories/tasks that I want copied. Then, on an empty epic, there is a button in the 'More' dropdown that will make copies of all of the stories in the template epic and put them under the new empty epic.
I am running Data Center, so I don't know if the functionality would transition to Cloud.
