The copy as text button is expected to copy the entire contents of a code snippet box. However, I find that if ANY text is selected on the page, the copy will fail. Pasting will show whatever text was previously in the clipboard;
Hi @Russell Wagner I've reproduced this on my machine using Windows 11 & Edge. However, I think the issue is not that the copy fails, but that the button isn't clickable.
Take a look at JRACLOUD-95244 as I think this is your issue. Feel free to vote for and watch it for updates. I voted for it. Feel free to add a comment as well.
Thanks for this. The ticket you pointed to is not entirely. It claims the copy fails if any portion of the snippet text is selected. but in fact the issue is that any text selected on the entire page will cause this issue.
I don't seem to have a way to log in and vote on or correct that ticket. But we'll see what happens.
