I am trying to convert all of our client spaces from Kanban, which is also team-managed, to a scrum board that is company-managed.

I started out by:

1) creating a new scrum board with the client name and selecting company-managed

2) going to the old board with all the tickets

3) Selecting List view

4) Select all filters and then bulk move everything after mapping to the new scrum board.

I realized that some tickets are not showing up, even with all filters turned on. If I click detail view, I see many more tickets, but I am still not confident that I am seeing EVERY ticket in each client space. I want to feel comfortable deleting the old boards once the scrum board is created and I have moved the tickets over.

Has anyone had experience with this that can provide advice, or is there another process that is safer and less time-consuming?

One screenshot I provided shows to-do, in progress and done checked, but only 1 ticket is showing. Another screenshot shows the number of tickets that show if I click Filter, Basic and then Parent (19) and then if I click "detail view" on the right it shows 18 tickets. 1 ticket.png19 tickets.png

Hello @thewebadvisorsdev

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

So you have project TM - a Team Managed Software project that has the kanban board activated.

And you created project CM - a Company Managed Software project using the Scrum board template.

And you have already executed a Move action to move issues from the TM project to the CM project.

You said in the TM project List view you selected all filters to get the issues you wanted to move. If you go to that same list view now and deselect all filters, are there any issues listed? If the answer is no, then all the issues have been moved to the CM project and no issues remain in the TM project.

If you go to the CM project List view and make sure all the filters are deselected, do you see the right number of issues?

Another way to check if all issues are present in the CM project is to go to the Filters option in the navigation panel on the left, select Search Work Items, and enter a filter to retrieve all issues from the CM project.

Let us first establish that all the items are in the CM project and then we can address your questions about what you see in the List view.
