Connecting Jira to BitBucket server

ohad malichi November 18, 2018

Hi.

We have Jira and BitBucket server installations on-premise.

We would like to connect them so that clients could create issues from the BitBucket repo page.

I looked on the web but I didn't find a way to do so.

I want to add an "issues" button on the repo page as I have seen on some pictures online.

How can I do that?

Regards,

Hi.

Thank you for trying to help.

I made that link some time ago....

Maybe I should try asking the question from a different direction:

1. I have Jira and Bitbucket connected.

2. I found a way to assign tickets from the developer to the client using the issue's Key value.

I don't know how to create the link from the other side - I want the client to be able to create tickets for the developer.

How can I do that?

I believe that this option is only available for Bitbucket Cloud.

You could use this plugin for the server version:

This is exactly what I was looking for!

Thank you!

I figured there will be an add-on for that ...
