Configuring reports

Hello! I have installed JIRA's Trial version in order to assesses whether this tool is useful for our company or not. Now I faced the problem of configuring reports (excel file).

How I tried to configure the report:
1) selecting particular project
2) going to Reports view (sign on the left-side column)

And I can find there only templates for report and couldn't build my own version.

The options you see in the "Reports" tab are just pre-defined filters you can use. You can absolutely create your own filters in the "Issues" then "Search Issues". You will need to use JQLs (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Advanced+Searching)
