Configuring Dependent Issue Target Start Dates in Jira Roadmap with Block Dependency

Dear Jira Experts,

Thank you for reading this question. Would it be possible to configure the Jira Roadmap (under Plans) or Jira issue that suppose we have 2 Jira Issues, A and B, and B's block dependency is set to A so that A has to completed first for B to start and when A is marked Resolved or Done, then B's Target Start date in Roadmap is set to the day that A is marked Resolved or Done?

For example, in the below screenshot, we have Issue 25 (red box) and Issue 24 (blue box). Suppose 24's block dependency is 25, is there a way to configure so when 25 is marked Done, 24's Target start date is automatically set to the day 25 is marked Done?

Hi @Kevin Lu 

I think you may need an automation rule to update the start date of blocked issue (e.g. 24) when the blocking issue (e.g. 25) is transitioned to Done status.
