I want to configure one incoming email per project in Jira. For example Proj1@acme.atlassian.net, Proj2@acme.atlassian.net and so on.

System - Incoming Mail - Default Cloud Mail Server is set to jira@acme.atlassian.net which works for one project however

When I go into project Settings -> Summary -> Notifications -> Email

Update email to Proj1@acme.atlassian.net instead of jira@ac... The email bounces.

Can you please advise.

Thanks

Hi @Saadan Rehman,

Please note that each incoming mail handler needs a dedicated email address. You have to navigate to https://acme.atlassian.net/secure/admin/IncomingMailServers.jspa and under POP / IMAP Mail Servers and add a new POP / IMAP Mail Server.

Please refer to the below screenshot

You can use them for defining a new email handler (ideally, one per POP/IMAP mail server)
