I've configured all my screens / schemes / fields / etc, but when I create an issue, the form that pops up doesn't show all the fields I've selected.

  • Why is that?
  • I see the configure fields helper, but why do I need to do that when I've already configured things?
  • If I do use the field helper, where does that configuration get stored?

  1. Depends on the fields, and it can be quite a lot to plough through - field configurations, screens, field context, field type and permissions (and possibly more if there are add-ons involved).  What type of fields are missing?
  2. The configure fields thing is personalised to you - it lets you hide fields that you don't want to bother with.  Won't affect anyone else
  3. The field helper just tells you what might be wrong, it won't store any config, but it will link to where you can set stuff in the standard admin screens in most cases.
