Is it possible to change which columns are shown in the Status Report section of the Sprint Report page?

No, that is not possible.

There are third party apps that can be used to make more customized reports.

The app you can use for that is the one I developed - Multi-team Scrum Metrics & Retrospective.

With it, you can select desired columns for each metric separetely.

In addition, you get the ability to track 9 pre-built and any custom JQL constructed metrics, conduct in-place retrospectives, view several teams/boards in a single view over sprints, months, quarters, half-years or years, do drill-downs, view statistics such as how much a new sprint is better than previous one, and much more.
