Need help to configure JIRA shared home. We are Implementing JIRA Data center in a clustered environment and have 3 nodes. Completed installation on one node and before copying the folders to other 2 nodes would like to configure the shared home and we are trying to use the Azure Storage as shared directory /home for all 3 nodes. Created cluster.properties file, named the node and shared path. Looks like on startup JIRA recognizes the shared path but say the following error (masked the storage name with <Azure Storage>
):
Ensure JIRA has permission to create and write to the jira.home directory C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Jira\"\<Azure Storage>\jiraqasharedhome"
.
Starting the JIRA service using service account and the service account has create, read/write permission to Azure Storage. Also mounted the drive on all 3 nodes.
Is there a specific user other than the service account needs to be given access to the shared folder in Azure Storage ?
quick question on your setup were you using windows machines and if so how did you setup the service account. Are your vms azure joined. We are running into the same issue and would like guidance as to how to use a service account or how to modify the configuration file. At this point we are not sure what the issue could be.
