% Completion rollup for "Progress"

There is a progress indicator on a JIRA parent that shows the % completion based on completion stats of the children issues. This is also a displayable "field" in advanced roadmaps.

Is that completion % value stored in the database somewhere?

I am trying to find a way to pull that information in to some reports.

I hypothesize the answer is: no, that value is dynamically computed when it is needed for display/reporting.
