'Complete Sprint' button is missing from a project for only one user.

Dear All,

The 'Complete Sprint' button is missing from a project for only one user.

The user belongs to the group that has the permission to manage sprints, but he doesn't  have possibility to complete the sprint. He has project admin role too. Once  the 'Complete Sprint' button appear and then disappeared. We don't know why. Weird.

As an administrator, I'm able to see the 'Complete' button on the Active Sprints menu.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you.

Hi @Krisztina TEGLASI ,

There could be many reasons behind this.

If the active sprint does not have the complete button, it means that the user do not have permissions to close the sprint. You must have the manage sprints permission for all projects, from which your board selects issues, to close this sprint.

1- Check the user access.

2- Check if the Sprint contains Issues from more than one project. If yes then check the user access in other projects as well.

3- The Complete Sprint button may be missing from Jira's Active Sprints page if multiple sprints are running in parallel.

Dear @Manoj Kumar Gangwar

Thank you for your answer. The 3. (multiple sprints are running in parallel) was root cause of the issue.

Thank you

Best Regards,

Krisztina
