Compatibility issues with Jira Cloud Migration Assistant

Hi,

Under https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/jira-software-9-8-x-upgrade-notes-1224776124.html there is a note about a compatibility issue between JCMA 1.9.X and >= 9.8.X. However when looking at upgrade notes for any newer versions there is no such note. Does this mean the JCMA was updated/fixed and there should be no more issues OR is this still a problem?

Hello @dovi5988 ,

Thanks for reaching out to the community.

The JCMA incompatibility is between the Jira 9.8 and the JCMA 1.9 and below versions.

I believe the fix for this incompatibility came with Version 1.9.3 which was Released 2023-05-29, and made the application compatible with Jira versions up to 9.8.2

So using newer versions of both Jira and the JCMA tool compare the JCMA version compatibility for Jira versions in the list noted here and you should be good to go.

Regards,
Earl
