Como migrar los comentarios de una incidencia de On-Premise a Jira Cloud?

Hello, we are trying to migrate some comments from on-premise incidents.

At the moment we are making a filter to reduce a little the volume of information, the file is CSV type. But when it comes to relate it with the Jira Cloud field, the comments field does not appear.

Has anyone ever had the same problem with the migration?

I hope you can help us, thank you very much.

Hello @dhernandezs

Where you see "No asignar este campo" displayed start typing in "comentario". This will give you a list of potentially matching fields. You need to map your CSV field to the "Comment Body" field.

Hello @Trudy Claspill

Hello

I just checked and I don't see the field provided by Jira "Comment Body".

I attach image with the search results

Hello @dhernandezs

How did you navigate to the import option?

You will not see the Comment Body field if you are trying to import issues by going through the Advanced Issue Search screen and selecting the Import option from the ... button.

Not all fields are available when you use that Import option.

As a Jira Administrator you can get access to additional fields if you click on the gear icon and select System.

Then select External System Import, and CSV.
