Codedoers Repeating Issues for Jira Plug-in

Hi - does anyone use this product? We're evaluating it and so far it looks suitable for use, but we don't understand the purpose for the following fields:

  • Issue Create Date
  • Issue Due Date
  • Issue Duration

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Regards - Steve Janvrin.

Hi @Steven Janvrin,

I do not use the app myself, but in the app documentation I found the following context:

This extract is coming from an example where you would use an existing issue that you would clone on a certain schedule.

It would either use the created or due date field of the original issue to create the next occurrence for you, where - if I understand correctly - you can choose which field to use to trigger the event.

The duration is just the difference (in working days) between those two fields. It should help setting the new due date on the newly created issue.

Hope this helps!
