If I install an add-on from the marketplace (jira cloud), does that mean the vendor can access all my data (when i allow access to data)? 

I would assume that the app maker won't get access to my data stored in Jira, but will only see that I'm using the add-on and how many licenses I have, is that true?

Hi @hynek_p

You will have to check with the vendors, but most Apps will have the data encrypted and they can only see the transactions/communications between the app and your Jira instance.  

Check their credentials and whether they are legit marketplace vendors as well.
