Closing a parent issue while sub tast are still open

Hello

I would like to forcefully close a parent issue even though some sub-tasks are still in open status. Does anyone know if this can be done? If yes, how?

Welcome to community!

By default you could close the parent even if the subtasks are open.

If you are not able to do that, there might be some customization preventing you. Can you check on your workflow validators/conditions?
