Closing a Sprint - Issues listed as open

I am trying to close a sprint after the fact. When I click Close Sprint it shows some issues as "incomplete". So I close those issues but it still shows them as incomplete. Turns out, they were incomplete at the end date of the sprint, not now. How should I be managing this?

be sure done issue are in the far right column and the Resolution is set.

The issue is that when you close a sprint, it sees the status of tasks as they were when the sprint ended, not what they are currently
