Closed issues are carrying forward to future sprint in next Gen project

Hi Team,

We are trying to close a sprint and move to the Next sprint. The closed issues are also carrying forward somehow. Please kindly advice how restrict the closed issues in Next gen project.

Hi Prabhu - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Jira will only consider the issue as Done/Closed if it is in the last column on the sprint board. So whatever status you consider to be "closed", then that status needs to be in the last column on the board.
