Closed Issues

When an issue is marked Done>>Closed, how do I get it to automatically disappear from our issues list?

I don't want the entire list to be gone - I'd like the "Closed" or "Done" issues (once marked as such) to drop off. I'm wondering if creating a new filter would be the best option. But it looks like someone on our end changed the workflow and I believe this function was changed as well.
