Hey everyone.
So I was looking at the functionality of cloning an issue, and I noticed that the "clone links" checkbox option is visible on some of the issues(usually from a certain project), and hidden on others. I wanted to ask if anyone can give me an explanation as to what causes the option to be hidden? Is it permissions?

You will get asked to clone links, attachments or sprint values if they are present on the ticket.

Hi @Tom Lister
This is not always the cause as with the screenshots below.
As far as I can tell the only differences is that the one has an extra link (that isn't clones) and that the projects are different.

Do you have link issues permissions on the other project?

Hi Tom.
I do.
However, looking at it further, I think that the reason is that the cloning operation doesn't regard the links; "clones" and "is cloned by", as valid links to clone. Whenever the link is only one of the afore mentioned ones, the check box doesn't appear. When the link is different, such as the "is child of" link, then the checkbox appears.
Thoughts?

If I rename the Cloners issue link it shows a checkbox for every type of link
