Clicking Backlog on new board layout does not open Backlog

If you click Backlog too quickly after navigating to your active sprint, the Backlog won't open and you'll be stuck on your active sprint board. Clicking Backlog won't do anything after that. You have to close Chrome/tabs and start over. This has been a persistent problem since moving to this new (not a fan of) layout. I keep getting stuck and I've been patiently waiting for a fix but it's been weeks of this so I'm reaching out to figure out the status of this issue.
