Choosing the right version of the Universal Plugin Manager with JIRA 4.1

Please excuse my ignorance, but I find that there are two ways to interpret the version information in the UPM's revision history. For our ancient JIRA 4.1, is the correct version 1.01 and is JIRA 4.2 required for version 1.1.1 and beyond, or will all versions after 1.0 support JIRA 4.1?

Answer accepted

You can't go above UPM 1.1.4 with Jira 4.1. All the UPM versions higher than 1.1.4 are incompatible.
