Hello People, 

 

I need to extract a report from JIRA

The report should have, 

 

EPIC, Epic Summary, User Stories, User Story Description, Epic Status, Story Status, Subtask, Subtask status, Bugs for the User stories

Hi @Rajarshi 

This isn't something you can do natively on the platform - neither if this is a list of issues, nor as a pre-defined report.

You could:

  • Export each layer into excel (Epic, Story, Sub-Task) and then put them together using unique identifiers at each layer (ie. Epic Issue Key = Epic Link, Story Issue ID = Parent ID)
  • Find a reporting app on the Marketplace which fulfils your specific need
  • Look into whether it's possible to export then replicate this structure via the Jira API.
