Has anyone experienced this issue?
Description
Within the past week, we began experiencing inconsistent and misleading visibility of child issues (stories, tasks, subtasks) under parent issues in Jira Cloud.
In the issue view, no child stories are visible at all — regardless of the status of those stories (To Do, In Progress, or Done). This creates the appearance that the parent has no child work items.

Hi @Kellie Mingus ,
Yes, this is a known bug affecting Jira Cloud users recently, probably not a configuration issue on your side. If you haven't already, you should raise a ticket with Atlassian Support to bring this to their attention, or create one under the JSWCLOUD project. The more reports and votes, the faster it gets prioritized.
For now, your workaround to toggle the "Hide done" option is most effective already! Great job!
I hope everything works out well for you!
Best regards,
Peter

Has your team / org changed the work item hierarchy? If so, please see this open JAC defect for that symptom:
