Is there a way to add child issue start and Due date?
Is there a way to make them visible on the road map?
Are these features available in the advanced road map?
Is there a way to see a roadmap for several projects at once?
Hello @Daria K
Welcome to the Atlassian community!
With the Free plan you have access to only Basic Roadmaps. Basic Roadmaps does not support showing date from multiple projects in one roadmap.
The Roadmap feature allows you to include the schedule for child issues. You have to enable that option.
If you are working with a Company Managed project, you enable that feature by going to Board Settings > Roadmap, and turn on Child Level Issue Scheduling.
Note though that Start Date and Due Date for the child issues will display only if you are working with a Kanban board.
You also must ensure that the Start Date and Due Date fields are available to be edited for the child issues.
If you are working with a Scrum board, the duration of the issue in the roadmap will reflect the Start and End dates of the sprint to which it is assigned. In a Scrum board the roadmap will NOT show the Start and Due dates set in the child issue itself.
Incredible! I took me honestly ages to browse through all the forums, incomplete documentations and outdated documentation and now i finally after i had given up 50 times... I find your post, that seriously saves the day. Thank you!
