HI @Sona Evanesyan

If you use Issue Checklist Free then you can make the template default for a project and issue type. After that, all newly created issues will get the checklist automatically. Here is the guide: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/776896599/Setting+a+template+as+default+checklist

Also, if you clone the issue that has the checklist in it, the checklist gets cloned as well.

Let us know if you have more detailed questions.

Cheers,
Jack

Hi @Sona Evanesyan,

You can check out the Smart checklist for Jira. Free version.

It’s simple to use, and it takes only several steps to set a checklist template to appear by default on issue creation. To do it:

  1. Install Smart checklist for Jira add-on
  2. Create a checklist template
  3. Set a template as default

You can also set a specific template to appear by default depending on the issue type.

If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach directly to our support team at smartchecklist@railsware.com.

I'm guessing you picked

Issue Checklist for Jira. Free

It appears they allow you to save a template to reuse but I would think you could just clone the issue with the appropriate checklist to reuse.

Can you please provide the precise add-on that you were using such as the link to the marketplace app?

Great! I actually use that app as well, the paid version.

If you go into manage templates you should be able to set one of the checklist as the default which would result in the checklist being created or added every time you create the issue. Let me know if this isn't obvious.
