Checkbox with conditional text field - is it possible?

Hi Everyone,

we'd need a special checkbox field: if option A were checked then a text field would appear and the user needs to add details. It's very common in almost every forms in the web but I don't know whether it can be achieved in Jira? Is it somehow possible?

You can use Dynamic Forms for JIRA add-on: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.intenso.jira.plugin.dynamic-forms/server/overview or you can use custom Javascript to achieve that. JS can be inserted in custom field description.
