Changing workflow to classic doesn't show all the statuses

I had three statuses in a workflow. I made that workflow inactive and activated the classic workflow with the statuses - Open, In Progress, Resolved, Reopened and Closed.

During the transition, I mapped the three statuses from the original workflow to Open, Resolved and Closed. Now I only see three statuses in the dropdown that were mapped during the transition and not seeing In Progress and Reopened. All the statuses do show up in the workflow though. Can anyone tell how this could be fixed?

I suspect the reason you are only seeing the two transitions/statuses is that form the Open status you only have the two transitions. If you want to be able to transition from say Open to In Progress then you need to add a transition to support that. Please verify my theory.

Hi @Jack Brickey , I think the transition is there. I have pasted the screenshot below. If you think the transition is not done correctly, could you please guide me how to make a transition from Open to In Progress?image.png
