I've changed my surname, which also causes on my e-mail address. I want to update an e-mail address, but I was logging in via Microsoft account. I've never set a password to attlasian.
When I updated e-mail address to a new one, system force me to confirm it with a password. And I don't have password.
When I wanted to set a password, system need a current password. Which I don't have...

I assume your account is not being managed by organization admin? In those cases, organization admin can update your email.
Otherwise, could you try to use this link https://id.atlassian.com/login/resetpassword
