hi folks,

ive created a dev tenancy (for a poc of single sign-on) and verified my domain but am still unable to change user names it seems - I've followed the documentation and just seems no way of changing username even though the domain is verified.

 

Any ideas?

In order to manage their accounts and change users' full names, it's necessary to claim the accounts.

For more details, please check the documentation below:

Also, I would like to clarify that it's not possible to change usernames only full names. Usernames were deprecated in Atlassian Cloud.

I'm unclear what you are trying to do here. what documentation are you referencing here? Can you share the link?

BTW, users can individually manager their accounts at id.atlassian.com > click on avatar > manage account

would this be that i haven't claimed the accounts? i haven't claimed them as its picking up the accounts from the live tenancy and i don't want to claim them on the dev one
