Changes to Story Cancelling Epic Workflow

We've recently encountered an issue where after building out a new work flow we've found that when resolving a story cancels the epic. What typically is the cause of this behavior, and is there any work-around within the post functions to avoid this type of behavior?

Not clear on what you are experiencing. It sounds like:

  1. You built a workflow and have a story issue following that workflow.
  2. That story issue is part of an Epic (meaning it is connected to an Epic issue).
  3. When you resolve the story issue, the Epic issue the story is part of gets canceled.

Is that what is happening?
