Changed the workflow - Backlog and Upcoming sprint tickets have disappeared

I applied new workflow for my projects it was a total mess so I reverted back to my old workflow itself but still  backlog and upcoming sprint not displayed. I checked my columns and mapped them to appropriate status. My board filter query involves 6 different projects the results are appearing in the search page but not in the backlog. I didn't change the filter query its the same as before. Please provide a resolution at the earliest.

While migrating to another workflow and switching it back may be the status mapping got messed up (not the column to status mapping).

  But i switched back to the same workflow. How to resolve this issue and get back my backlog and upcoming sprint tickets? Please advise
