Change visibility of built in fields for certain issue types

I can define the JIRA issue types to be associated with custom fields, i want to be able to do that for the built in types as well. 

I want to show the Built in field "Component/(s)" in certain JIRA issue types such as sub-tasks, where it is not being displayed currently. Does anyone know how I can do it ?

System fields always belong to all issues.

You can hide them though, and that is done by default a lot of the time.  Check

1)  The field configuration for the project and issue type does not "hide" the field

2)  The field is on the create/edit/view screens in the issue type screen scheme
