Change the parent link for an epic to another parent initiative

Hi, I have an epic XYZ in one Jira project B that is linked to a parent initiative 1 in Jira project A. How do I relink the epic XYZ to project A parent initiative 2?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Open the details view of the Epic.

In the bread crumbs at the top hover on the Initiative icon and it will change to a pencil. Click that.

A pop up will display.

Click View all parents at the bottom. In the new pop-up enter the issue key for the new parent.
