Change the Owner of all Stories/Tasks in a Project

Liisa Farrell December 19, 2018

I'm looking for a way to change the owner of all tasks in a project from one resource (he has rolled off) to a new owner (work stream Lead).  Is there a way to do this, and if so, can the parameters be set from a set Sprint forward, and also the Backlog?

Hello,

What do you mean by owner? is it the reporter or the assignee of an issue?

You can bulk edit issues to change multiple issues at the same time. You can find more info about Bulk Edit here:

Correction, not the "owner", the Reporter.  Thanks!  I'll look into the bulk edit feature.

I now understand how to do the bulk edit, and am at the part of selecting the operation details where I should be able to change the reporter, however I don't see that action listed.  field.PNG

I see it now, I do not have the admin permission to change the reporter.

You probably need permission to change the reporter
