I'm trying to assess Jira for an aerospace program management office. The engineers currently use Jira so it was recommended we try it out to see if it's something we can use.
I put an old program in as it's own project, ~200 tasks, but they have been completed. The program started in 2017 and went through this last May.
What I am wanting to do is put in all the assigned dates, the estimated completion dates, and the actual delivery dates to see what kind of dashboard I can build. Ideally, I'd like to be able to jump in time so I can see the reports at any given time. So like I can pretend it's Sept, 9th 2018 and see a reports and ideally the scrum board as it would be during that time.
I basically want to be able play this project as a simulation so I can demonstrate to my director the functions.
I'm currently playing on a development server environment.
