Change sprint name

Has something changed recently with Jira? I am no longer able to edit my sprint names.

In what way are you prevented from changing the sprint name?

Are you not finding the Edit Sprint option in the Backlog screen, under the More Actions options for a sprint?

Do you find it, but the dialog doesn't open?

Does the dialog open but you are unable to actually change the value?

Are you able to change the value in the dialog but the change does not appear to update the sprint after you click the Update button?

Are you trying to change the name of a Completed sprint, Active sprint, or Future sprint?

You should be able to edit a active sprint name. Could you tell us what error exactly are you encountering while trying to edit the sprint name?
