Change shared screen template

Hello all,

I have created a new Project with a shared template, used with more projects.

The user for the new project, has noticed that when creating an Issue(story) , the Issue type is showing the incorrect fields (different issue type screen template). Now, I've identified the Screen template that the project should be using but,

how can I change it within this particular Project without affecting all other projects?

In a Company Managed project there is an associated Issue Type Screen Scheme.

In an Issue Type Screen Scheme, Screen Schemes (sets of screens) are associated to issue types.

Did you find an existing Issue Type Screen Scheme that you can reuse entirely for the project, or do you need to change the screens for just one type of issue in the project?

If the former, you can associate a different entire Issue Type Screen Scheme to a project without affecting other projects.

If the latter, and you need to change screen(s) for just one issue type in the project, then you will have to create a new Issue Type Screen Scheme where you can combine the Screen Schemes you want for this project, and then associate that new Issue Type Screen Scheme to the project.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I have identified that there's another project using the Issue Type Screen Scheme that we need for the new project, but in the settings, this association says (Shared with 109 projects)  and that is my main concern.

I'd like to simply change the Screen Scheme in the new project only.

You can assign an Issue Type Screen Scheme to another project and that will have no impact on the projects that Issue Type Screen Scheme is already assigned to.
